More Peak-tures from Hong Kong

There are more pictures. Whatever made you think I wouldn't be posting even more and more photos? Our brainwashing nearly done, the class was feeling much more relaxed, and we had our own dinner ... well ... almost all ... the trainer didn't turn up (no idea why), and our Indian friends ended up in some Indian restaurant.

We guys? Hehehe ... we ended up in Yoong Kei, the restaurant famed for its siew ngor - that's roasted goose for you in English. I must be knowing all the right people in Hong Kong ... for the second day in a row, I ended up getting seats in a famous, exclusive Hong Kong restaurant without prior booking.

This, is the siew ngor. I will tell you now it's delicious ... almost as good as the Peking duck I've had some months back in Beijing. It's REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY good. Angeliu, please stop drooling. Your keyboard can be damaged ...

And this, is how the dishes looked like ... we had Orange Pork Ribs, Braised Mushroom, Hong Kong style Yong Taufu, Chinese Lettuce, Baked Fish and also Old Cucumber soup. Del.i.cious. But the cost? A cool HKD 1,800 ... that's RM 900. It's expensive. =(

Luckily, everything tasted great ... and besides the siew ngor, I have to mention this too ...

The century egg, served with sliced ginger. Unlike the ones we get in Malaysia where the whole egg is hard, this one has a soft yolk - you probably won't realise that looking at the picture

I'm not going to bore you with how we guys ended up taking the tram up the Peak (yeah, again, for me). This time, I came prepared with a tripod. So, see ... this is the result ... pwetty or not??

Moral of the story - have a tripod around for those night shots ... really.

pelf: No problem. I was at the driver's seat - I asked and he let me stay with him ... =)

che-cheh: Yeah ... I am now the proud owner of around 200 pictures from the Peak. And those are the good ones ... I must have rejected another 100 or so ...

amelia: I'm coming home Saturday ... hopefully, without additional pounds. I don't fancy turning into a real monster. ;)

That last picture is BEAUTIFUL! Looks like a scene from those superhero movies, you know, like at the end, when the hero looks down on the city he just saved from an evil villain/insatiable monster, and there's this glow about it. Oh, yeah, there's the girl, too.
Where was I?
Yes, beautiful picture, really.

sheena: You've got quite an imagination. I don't suppose your boyfriend would be able to pop the question without bringing you to Hong Kong, Shanghai, New York or some other places where the view's gonna be gorgeous ... =) ... or would he?
