Hong Kong Pics update ...

Reached HK okay ... met a Thai colleague who's here for the same corporate brainwash training. So, we decided to explore Hong Kong a bit ... she's a bit less adventurous, like most girls are ... shopping is her natural inclination.

Without saying too much ... here are some photos are their commentaries ... click to see larger picture ...

A panoramic view of Hong Kong Island from Tsim Tsa Sui, on Kowloon peninsular. Click on pic to see the real deal ...

Another panoramic sweep, from a slightly different part of the Arena of Stars, just behind the Hong Kong Cultural Center ... And yes, click on the pic to see the real deal.

The tall building in the picture is the IFC - International Financial Center, which is the tallest building in Hong Kong.

Times Square - the shopping paradise ... actually, my hotel is right around the corner from Causeway Bay's many shopping centers, and just a 5 minute walk away from Times Square.

Let's just say this is a typical scene in Causeway Bay ... and this was the first of probably 20 G2000 I saw in about 5 hours on the streets in Hong Kong. It's nuts ... just in Times Square, there's a G2000 Ladies, a G2000 Mens, and a G2000 Leisure. And on the way there, in Jardine Crescent, there's a G2000 store (generic), a G2000 Ladies and a G2000 Mens. How many G2000 is actually necessary?

What is Hong Kong without the neon signs? This is just behind the hotel at Causeway Bay.

amelia: So, you're a seasoned veteran =)

Maybe you can share with me what are your fav places in HK?

angel: Giordano & Baleno lose out to G2000, angeliu ...

But I realise we (Msians) have more Top Shop & Mango's than they have here in HK ...

Aiyoh! Seasoned veteran! Nah!
Seasoned traveller! Yeh! ;)

My fave places in Hong Kong are any of the major shopping areas - where I can indulge in great special discounts - during a sale.

Definitely the wrong question to ask someone who was born to shop. LOL

amelia: Well, we have a shopmaster then. What's your favourite shopping place over in HK ??
