Feedback - my photoblog

After relooking at my photoblog, Moz Takes Pictures (http://mozphotos.blogspot.com), I've found the hits to be quite low, so I'm not quite sure what I should do. It's a personal hobby I like a lot, photography, and I am keen to keep the blog up, and not have to close it.

On the one hand, I really like the concept, and want to see it continue, but on the other hand, I am not happy with the outcome so far.

I guess if I were to be honest, I guess I'm not getting hits because I haven't been putting up photos very frequently, and I haven't been very prolific in sounding out about the blog too. I guess as little time as I have, I'd really have to pull up my socks and do better in terms of putting photos out there.

But I'd like to hear from anyone who has some ideas on how I can spruce things up. I mean, I'd like to hear what you like, what you don't like, and how I can make your experience better when you visit my photo blog. I'd appreciate greatly any feedback.

I love the concept too, Moz. In fact, I've never seen a photoblog that is as educational as yours.

I would say, continue doing what you love, because it shines through. But of course, you really should post more frequently, say 3 photos in a week?

I wish you all the best! :D

I like your photoblog. Frequent updating is necessary if you want hits (just like our personal blog too) :P

I like your photoblog as much as I like this personal one. :D

When you've been jetsetting so much, it's understandable when you don't have time to update & hence your hits are affected.

As for me, I don't care how many hits I get 'coz my blog is my journal & I blog for my ownself.

Happy Weekend, my friend & I wish you the best.

pelf: Thanks Pelf for your kind words. They give me a lot of encouragement ! I'll try to increase the frequency of photos being put onto the photoblog.

laundryamah: Aiyor ... got caveat one somemore ! I'll teach you photography whether you link me or not. But one word though - we both use different systems !

che-cheh: Thanks ! I'll try very hard to put more pictures more often !

jems: You're back ! Thanks ! While I do recognise that blogging is something you do for yourself, I find it awfully discouraging sometimes to only have 1 or 2 comments ... worst still if there's none !

U are looking for comments, not hits then...

Same thing I just told another young lady last week... if you want comments, u gotta comment in other ppls' blogs first... she replied saying that she doesn't hv the luxury of time (like you, i guess...) but i din reply liao...

what else i wanna reply, kan?

it's a case of u scratch my back, i scratch yours. itu saja... :)

btw, i hv a suggestion.. maybe u can try ping to singapore's version of pps at tomorrow.com.sg (did i get the link right?) to further 'expose' your blog? or join the weekly photohunt? or wordless wednesday?? ei.. got ppl come wan, ok... ;)

itu saja, sekian tima kasih!

nice meeting u Moz :)

It is not easy to maintain 2 blogs. Time indeed play a major role.

How about combining both blogs together as one?

Hi, this is my first time here and my first time at your photoblog too, and I must say that your pictures are breathtaking! Don't stop! Any chance of featuring them here sometimes too?

You could lure ppl there by providing a link after each post here you know...

angeles: Thanks. I know that part there about back scratching. And I don't ping out about my blog at all. Anyways, thanks for your thoughts !

chev: And it is very nice to have meet you too ! It's really a labor of love, I don't mind keeping 2 blogs ...

giddy tiger: Welcome to my blog ! *rolls out red carpet*

Thanks for the suggestion - perhaps I should add a little widget to publish links to the photoblog ! Thanks !!
